Bit disappointed by slowness of system and browsing after update to FF 2.0 on alcatel fire e, reset phone no better. Going back to 3 year Android, really wanted to love FF but too slow.

I am really sorry to hear that you are unhappy with your device. Please do note that the better will come! If you download updates yourself, you could try 2.1 or 2.2. If you get your updates from Alcatel, please contact them as to when they will provide an update for your device. Once again, sorry to hear that you are unsatisfied with your device and Firefox OS.

Thanks for the reply. I have no idea whether Alcatel will update again. What is the process for upgrading a phone?

You will need to contact Alcatel in regards to this. They are the ones responsible for releasing updates, and providing them to you.
