Any way to update marketplace app?
Hi, I'm using Intex Cloud FX in India. One thing I noticed that the preinstalled Marketplace app is outdated. Latest apps are not appearing in the search result. Also there is no update to the Marketplace app. I'm using Marketplace website on browser as a workaround but I would like to know whether it is possible to update Marketplace by any means. Thanks in advance. :)

Hi, Thanks for your Inquiry. Regarding the Marketpace app, Please be informed that its a hosted app and it does not need to be updated. So you dont need to be tensed about updating it. Regards
The marketplace app does not require an update. In the event that it does, you will be notified in the notification tray.

Also the search results don't include the latest apps. When I searched for ConnectA2 it showed the app alright https://support.cdn.mozilla.net/media/uploads/images/2014-09-24-01-52-20-071fab.png but when I searched for a newer app like Zomato, no result at all! https://support.cdn.mozilla.net/media/uploads/images/2014-09-24-02-12-49-a8c137.png
The display of the application may look different per your location. The zomato app may not be displayed also due to your location or incompatibility to your device. I've escalated this matter to our Help Desk team for further assistance and investigation.

Hello Andrew, thanks for your reply. I would like to add a few things. The problem is not with one or two apps. ALL the *newer* apps are not appearing in the search results. I showed Zomato as an example. As I wrote before Marketplace website (https://marketplace.firefox.com/) on the browser is doing well as a workaround. I have installed and tested *newer* apps from there. I tried Zomato app itself. It worked fine.
I filed a bug to start this conversation, unfortunately support cannot reproduce this, but we can test here: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1073158
Can you please also add these steps and screenshots to the bug to have a good description of the issue for the engineers :-)
Hi, I think its a cache issue. Maybe the Data is cashed therefore its not showing newer apps. Can you please try by resetting the phone?
If its a bug, I can provide an alternative tricks for it. You can simple Take the Marketplace page into your home screen. For doing so, Go to to http://marketplace.mozilla.org , then press the star Icon which is situated below, then tap on Add to Home screen
By doing this, I hope you can see marketplace at your homescreen and can be a alternative till the bug is not fixed.

I'm not sure whether ALL the *newer* apps are appearing now or not as they are still not appearing on the search results. Also unlike 18 categories for the new Marketplace there are only four (Home, Games, Tools, Lifestyle) avaiable here. So it's really painful to browse all of them and look for apps.
