A Guest Session lets someone else use Firefox on your Android device without giving them access to your personal information like passwords, bookmarks and history.

This article applies to the latest version of Firefox for Android. Please update your version first to enjoy these features.

Start a Guest Session

  1. Tap the Firefox menu button (either at the bottom right on some devices or in the upper right of the browser) and then New Guest Session (you may need to tap Tools first).
    New Guest Session
  2. Then tap Continue. Firefox will restart in Guest Session mode.

End a Guest Session

  1. Tap the Firefox menu button (either at the bottom right on some devices or in the upper right of the browser) , then Exit Guest Session.
    Exit Guest Session
  2. Tap Continue to delete all the browsing data from the Guest Session and return Firefox to normal with all of your personal data available.

How can I tell if I am in a Guest Session?

Tap the Firefox menu button (either at the bottom right on some devices or in the upper right of the browser) . If you can see Exit Guest Session you are in Guest Session mode.
