Set Firefox for Android to open links in native apps

You can set Firefox to open links in native apps (such as Twitter, Instagram, etc.). By default, this is set to Off.

To change this preference:

  1. Tap the menu button. Settings icon in address bar in android

  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Scroll down to the Advanced section, next to Open links in apps use the slider button to turn this On.tap Open links in apps and select one of the following options:
  • Always to open links in native apps every time.
  • Ask before opening to choose whether to open link in native app each time.
  • Never to never open links in native apps.
