Mozilla Monitor is a data breach notification service offered by Mozilla that warns you if your online accounts have been involved in a data leak. Using the Have I Been Pwned database, Mozilla Monitor keeps track of known data breaches and notifies you if your online accounts are compromised, providing guidance on how to proactively protect yourself going forward.

Check if you've been part of a known breach

  1. Open your web browser and go to monitor.mozilla.org.
  2. You may be prompted to sign in with your Mozilla account.

  3. Once you are signed in, go to Dashboard.

  4. Monitor automatically scans your email for any breaches and displays the results on the dashboard.

Tip: If you're affected, Mozilla Monitor will guide you through the next steps to help you recover and secure your accounts.

Scan multiple emails

You can scan up to 20 emails for free. The monitoring is automatic and requires no further action from you.

  1. In the Dashboard, click on the Manage more emails button.

  2. Alternatively, you can click on the Edit your info section, then Add email address.

  3. Add an email address, and click on Send verification link.
  4. Click on the link Monitor sent you via email to validate your email address.
