This is a new feature that is not yet available in released versions of Firefox. You can try it on Firefox Beta.

Firefox Hello lets you set a web page as context for a conversation. There are two ways to do this:

Set an open tab as the context

Clicking on the Firefox Hello button will automatically set your active tab as the topic for your conversation.

  1. Go to the tab you want to discuss.
  2. Click the Firefox Hello button.
  3. Put a check mark next to Let's talk about:

Add, edit or remove context manually

You can add or change the topic manually by following these steps:

Add context: click Add some context and enter a link and description for the page you want to discuss.

To edit or remove the existing context:
  • Edit context: click the pencil icon next to the topic.
  • Remove context: click the x next to the topic.
