The lack of support for saving pages in MHTML format is a real drawback for Firefox.

This is a great shame, given all its other advantages—and especially its independence from Big Tech.

Can we hope for native support for this feature in the browser soon ?

And if not, what is holding it back ?

Hi, Check out the attached screenshot. This is the image FF saves when a user does the following action on any page: Take screenshot > Save full page

I have almost 20 such screenshots where the Google AI answers are overlapping and certain areas of the screenshot are overlapping and cut off (in the attached screenshot, the Step-by-Step points number 2 and 3 for Fluffy Breakfast Pancakes is cut off). Really annoying. I would appreciate the concerned team taking a look and a fix for this.

To recreate: Ask Google AI anything (this is the Google AI that you get to from the google.com homepage by clicking the AI Mode button) and make sure the answer require some scrolling. Then right-click and Take Screenshot > Save full page. Overlapping/cut off screenshot is saved. Thanks

When I. Save an HTML page and use "save as" + "all files"

it always would open up the HTML and a New folder with the files. This suddenly has disappeared and I am not sure why.

Hi. I am unable to take the full page screenshot right from firefox. Whenever i click on Save Full Page it just saves the visible section instead of full page. Please tell me how to fix this as i want to take full page screenshot instead of taking multiple visible screenshots.

You eliminated saving a page to disc or SD card as an HTML file. that was a big mistake. That severely reduces the usefulness of Firefox. I wish you would bring it back since you've already written the code for it.

... just that. Actually I wanted to print a selection, but if the selection is longer than one page, only one page will print. So I thought if I could save the selection to a file, and then print that file, I'd solve my problem.

I just installed a new version of Linux Mint (Zara) and all is right with Firefox, except the screenshot who doesn't work. The buttons "Capture the visible area" and "Capture the entire page" don't work. The additional tool in the toolbar doesn't work. What can i do, please? Thanks for your answer. Pierre

I have saved several files of chat with Google AI. I trusted that Firefox function 'Save page as...is a serious deal. I thought I can save the page and whenever I wanted i could open the page. Firefox have saved several files for each page, but nothing works. When i try to open the file I just get a blank page. Is it like the search bar in the middle of page which does not work? i have been using firefox from the time of release, but recently it frustrate and disappoint me badly!
