I've uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled it and cleared the cache. And it's still either not linking to certain sites at all or not, opening them correctly or completely. I don't wanna spend any more time than necessary on this since i've tried various ways to fix the issue.. If you can help me, that would be great. I guess I could use chrome, but I have used firefox for years.And as a rule, haven't had any problems up until now.

I have Windows 11 operating system on my Laptop, but when I order merchandise online via Paypal, I get notification stating my device was recognized and was using Windows 10! I don't understand why this is happening. How do I fix this?

Previously, when I run a full scan, a box will appear at the bottom of the screen stating that full scan is running and when it's finished, this appears full scan is finished and stayed on until I check Norton. This has not occurred for a long time. How can I fix this? Thank you for your consideration and I look forward to hearing from you.

I have been using a couple of well known computer browsers that drive me mad the way I have to confirm who I am even after long use with them .

Their system of security is over the top.

Since last two updates, I noted I can't click on the URL field or any icons next to each other two versions ago. I changed the Bluetooth mouse to a lined mouse, then it went OK. But with the latest update, again, the same symptom occured and persists: I am on MacBookPro, so I manage to Command+any command key.

How can I restore and click on URL field, copy URL, or reload the URL address again? OF course, I need to use other icons for each function.

My emails were all working (accounts were setup fine). Then, recently, when I opened Thunderbird, the main area (where my messages are displayed) is empty. If I choose another folder, still empty. BUT, the folders all say that there are messages in them (see the attached screenshot)

I have tried the following... 1. Opening Thunderbird in Troublshooting mode: This works, and the messages appear. But I don't want to have to open troubleshooting mode every time. 2. I have ZERO extensions installed, so asking to disable them obviously wont do anything. 3. I have tried to repair the folders (I have tried to repair the default inbox folder, and then tried to repair them all ... nothing worked). 4. I have backed up my thunderbird files, and tried reinstalling Thunderbird. Still didn't work. 5. Any other suggestions?

can not resolve repeated problem : "The bookmarks and history system will not be functional because one of Firefox's files is in use by another application. Some security software can cause this problem." Cánt not find "Refresh"

Thunderbird 147.0esr Email arrives. I open it It has the usual 'view this thread' link I click that link waterfox opens all of my home pages.....not the email I have disabled all add ons, in both thunderbird and waterfox....I have changed profile in waterfox & synced with firefox.

Each time I start TB, I get this message: "The folder 'Inbox on redacted@aol.com' could not be compacted because writing to folder failed. Verify that you have enough disk space, and that you have write privileges to the file system, then try again." What does this mean and what can I do to fix it. Thanks. M. Campbell

Near Firefox. Why does Firefox's built-in translator always write “Near” in front of all opening sentences? It's very annoying to look at. Have you considered using AI? DeepL is great for translating. It translates not only the words, but also the culture.

Youtube just does not run well on the firefox browser, I have had this issue on my pc, as well as my laptop. Twitch, piracy streaming sites, 9anime all work fine this problem with loading and buffering is exclusive to youtube. I have tried resetting my firefox settings, changing the values for load times and resource usage in about:config and none of these have fixed my youtube.I have tried multiple fixes I've been recommenced by online forms. I have switched my user agent to make youtube think I am using chrome, I have disabled and removed all of my extensions including ublock origin, and loading youtube remains painfully slow. In fact, disabling adblock makes the load times even slower.

Also responding to my post with "hmmm durrr it works just fine for me" does not help anybody, stfu.
