Firefox will only start if I sign in as an administrator. It doesn't connect to the internet, and I can't get to the help screen. I did a refresh but that hasn't help. If I uninstall and then reinstall a new copy correct the problem? How do I save and reinstall my bookmarks and settings? I love Firefox and prefer it over other browsers. But I need to fix it and any help you provide will be very much appreciated. Thank you!

On my PC - Initial problem was T-bird took forever to load and virtually all new msgs went to TRASH and I had to move to IN-Box. Per help from David - Saved off profile, and reinstalled thunderbird from thunderbird.net. No change. Then UNINSTALLED T-Bird (profile still intact). Now just attempts to open "Looking up imap.comcast.net", but won't open/connect and to close the app I must use WIN Task Master. Can't get to any msgs, etc. Also, in the past when I was able to open, the banner or bar at the top of the page had hundreds of email icons. I sometime have over 1000 emails in my in-box!! I have years worth of emails in folders on T-Bird which I don't want to loose. Help. Thank you. Popup GUI elements if pulled up twice in quick succession spike my CPU usage and crash the program

some examples: -menu bar menus -the menu button -context menus (websites with their own context menus do not do this) -preview tooltips

I've tried disabling extensions, turning hardware acceleration off and on and disabling AI to no avail. Disabling the preview tooltips 'worked' but I'd prefer not to disable everything here. Are there any other settings that might help?

I still have windows 7 pro on my computer and now I keep getting "Access Denied" from some websites Can your ESL be used on my computer so that I can access my bank; stores, etc.?

Since last two updates, I noted I can't click on the URL field or any icons next to each other two versions ago. I changed the Bluetooth mouse to a lined mouse, then it went OK. But with the latest update, again, the same symptom occured and persists: I am on MacBookPro, so I manage to Command+any command key.

How can I restore and click on URL field, copy URL, or reload the URL address again? OF course, I need to use other icons for each function.

Hello, I'm using Firefox 147.0.4 on Windows 11. When I open the Adobe Firefly website and I try to upload a file to the Adobe server using drag and drop or by browsing the Windows file system, nothing happens ... There's no error message, but the file isn't uploaded. Of course, this site works perfectly with Opera or Edge... On the Adobe forums, many users have the same problem with Firefox, and Adobe's response is always the same: change browsers ! I tired to log into my FIREFOX account by my usual way which is tapping the logo. A new screen ask for permission to make changes to my FIREFOX website. although I said NO , it continued to install UPDATES and UPGRADES that I do not and that I am unable to undo.

I have tried to restore or or recover my former FIREFOX WEBSITE , BUT NOTHING SEEMS TO WORK. I think the changes are the the results of an AI takeover.

I am experiencing significant performance problems in Mozilla Firefox when using certain AI-powered tools. Below are the specific issues:

   Flux AI & Diagramming AI Performance Warnings

       Issue: When accessing Flux AI or Diagramming AI tools, Firefox displays a warning message stating, "This site is slowing down Firefox."

       Observed Behavior:

           Delayed response times or freezing when interacting with these tools.

           High CPU usage (observed via Task Manager) when the tools are active.

       Expected Behavior: Smooth operation without performance degradation, as seen in other browsers (e.g., Chrome or Edge).

   CMS Sign-Out Failure

       Issue: Unable to sign out of my Content Management System (CMS). The action either freezes or refreshes without logging me out.

       Troubleshooting Attempted: Cleared cache/cookies, disabled extensions, tested in Safe Mode—issue persists.

   ChatGPT Menu Error

       Issue: Clicking the three-dots (⋮) menu in ChatGPT triggers an error instead of displaying options.

My emails were all working (accounts were setup fine). Then, recently, when I opened Thunderbird, the main area (where my messages are displayed) is empty. If I choose another folder, still empty. BUT, the folders all say that there are messages in them (see the attached screenshot)

I have tried the following... 1. Opening Thunderbird in Troublshooting mode: This works, and the messages appear. But I don't want to have to open troubleshooting mode every time. 2. I have ZERO extensions installed, so asking to disable them obviously wont do anything. 3. I have tried to repair the folders (I have tried to repair the default inbox folder, and then tried to repair them all ... nothing worked). 4. I have backed up my thunderbird files, and tried reinstalling Thunderbird. Still didn't work. 5. Please help me to open Thunderbird. All of my critical communication is there. Ecentral.com is my email. Thunderbird has not responded since a Windows update on 01/20/26. Should I uninstall that update?
