I want to save a shortcut on my desktop that will access a particular site in Firefox using private browsing. It appears (?) years ago you could do that by adding -private to the end of the target. That appears to no longer work.

Suggestions?

To replicate this issue, an image from my device is uploaded to a website that requires an image file input; the resulting image displayed on the website becomes corrupted and unreadable. The theory forming currently is the website is having issues retrieving or reading the input images; however, this bug seems to be consistent with several other websites, indicating Firefox is not able to read the images correctly and thus could result in fragmentation. - The image posted is a .png file of a screenshot of an attempt to post a picture to social media, based on the functionality of this bug, I am predicting this image will be fragmented and will only show blue and black lines. The image being posted online is also in a .png file format.

I've tried to book flights repeatedly online and Firefox is preventing it. How do I nknow? because I went to Safari and the bookings went straight through. Same bookings, same sites.

I use Firefox on many computers in many locations and they all use the account sync feature. However, at one location, a school, there's a filtering system in place called Securly. To get through the school filters, you have to download a certificate and install it. I do that, and web browsing works fine. But, syncing does not work. It's as if the syncing feature doesn't use the installed certificate. So, to sync, I have to use my phone hot-spot from time-to-time. It's a big pain, however, when I've set or changed a password at the school and expect it to be available in all my other computers but I've forgotten to do the manual sync before I left. Is there a way to get the sync process to use the installed certificate?

For first time received email from breach-alerts@mozilla.com. Title is: Your monthly Mozilla Monitor report. Is this a scam? Other people have asked this question and Mozilla Firefox company has not made any attempt to answer these serious questions. If I do not hear back from Mozilla Firefox within a week I might remove Mozilla Firefox and use another company.

When assigning a URL to the mediaplayer object it started appending the current path to the URL. Did not do that in prior version. You can see it automatically puts the current browsing URL and then the URL that is assigned. So the file will not load. i have run this add on for as long as i can remember, recently whenever i open Firefox, Bookmarks Search Plus 2 Opens expanded every time, Bookmarks Search Plus 2 Opens expanded on the left hand side of the monitor every time.

I cannot seem to get Firefox to open a new browsing session OR a new tab without the left almost quarter screen to show Bookmarks Search Plus 2 .

How do i get this to stop? I have closed it and shut down FF and restarted, same result.

I am sitting in hospital with a weird problem. The connection is open and thus not secure. I have successfully connected my 2 android devices, however my Windows Asus laptop is being barred by firefox. I only run firefox. It is a dead end because firefox refuses to allow me to access the net at all. So now I have to get my wife to go and download chrome and see whether that will work. Why can I not override as u understand the risks I also use Norton 360 with its VPN.

Firefox version: 139.0.4 (64-bit) OS: Windows 11

I have been having issues where Firefox tab will just crash out for no reason it appears and it happens at random times and once the tab start to crash, and I restore it, it will crash again and again. The only way tog et out of the loop is to restart Firefox.

I have tried: Refreshing/Reset, Clearing Cache and History removing all themes, disabling extensions, disabling my anti virus. Turning off hardware acceleration didn't make any different.

I currently have 2 extensions enabled: uBlock Origin 1.64.0 and Bitwarden Password Manager 2025.5.0

In the about:Crashes I have reported them all and they seem to have the same type of reasons in the Raw data/Minidump which are: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION_WRITE EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION_READ

Any help as to what to try next?

Ich habe in der letzten Zeit öffters in meiner chronik seiten wie bcclk.com und andere Seiten, welche ich nie geöffnet habe gesehen. Das macht mir etwas angst. Auf dem Foto sehen sie einen Auschnitt meiner Chronik. Ich habe von den Seiten die sie da sehen keine jemals gesucht auch nicht die für E bikes etc. Ich wollte wissen ob diese Seiten schädlich sind oder Sicher. Wenn sie nicht sicher sind wüsste ich gerne wie ich sie entfernen kann.

I am on medical marijuana and I cannot use the site because email says I needs a new browser. Without this new browser I cannot get anything from the Medical Marijuana. Everything from the state goes through the email system. There Is a problem with my medical card. It is not working. I have been trying for over a week to get the code I need to open the site and order a new card. I was told that the fasted way to do this is to go through Lost or Stolen card. Cannot get where I need to go because of my email needs a new browser. I am on loop and cannot get off the merry-go-round without help, so please help me.

editing a pdf and browser is red underlining words as spelled incorrectly when in fact they are real words and spelled correctly. for example dendrology is being underlined (in this message as well) and it is suggesting demonology instead. How is it that browser recognizes demonology but not dendrology ???

At home we have a shared computer with Ubuntu and Firefox as main browser. Each family member has its own Linux user.

We use the functionality of Firefox saving passwords, however we've noticed that these passwords are visible between the Linux users. So, for instance if two of us use the same website, somehow our user/pass get are visible to each other. Is this behavior expected? How can we set FF to make the user/pass visible only to the Linux user who is using it?

Why do I get "Could not establish connection. Receiving end does not exist" when I use Roboform's option? I think this started after a Firefox update. My whole homepage changed with the update.
