Love Firefox by the way... So, autocomplete in the search bar is often helpful, don't get me wrong, but it redefines the delete/backspace key to be context-sensitive. Now, sometimes it does what I expect and backs up one, erasing the character I just typed. However when autocomplete ghost text is present, that same key removes the ghost text only, leaving the character I'm intending to remove. This is enormously inconvenient as I now must watch to see what autocomplete is doing and adjust my behavior to comply. Were I designing I would not make the delete key dual purpose context sensitive, instead I would do both at the same time! Delete what I just typed and remove the ghost text. Safari started this, I complained and of course got no response. Subsequently I noticed the same behavior in Firefox. My suggestion, request, is that search delete key behavior not be decided for me. Either make this Safari behavior a settings option, by default is OK, so that I can choose, or (my preference) delete both ghost and previous character with a single keystroke! Issue persists on Incognito Mode and it goes away if I use different browser.

Since 2 days issue like this happened and it is retroactive meaning all previous conversations are also blank, all replies of chatgpt are blank except replies with image generation, those are fine.

Before you recommend me to do something please keep in mind that Incognito itself does not help.

While submitting online forms for opting out of data brokers getting the following error: Invalid Turnstile captcha response. Using Windows 10 and latest Firefox, tried putting Firefox in Troubleshooting Mode which runs without extensions and searched for online solutions, but no help.

I want to keep the original profile but the process is confusing to me. Can you tell me a simple way to keep the original profile or else set the original for me.

I received an email that said my account would be closed in 7 days unless I signed in.

I leave my Mozilla tabs permanently open and use them every day. I tried to sign in as instructed and got an "unknown error" about 3 times. Then I was sent to a page talking about Windows 10. I have the extension; that's not a problem for me.

Closing Mozilla and possibly losing all those open tabs would be a BIG problem. Evidently I'm signed in now. I hope everything is OK with my Mozilla account.

Lately, on certain websites, like Fox News - I open a tab in a new link and it just spins.

Today, I just tried to register an account with a glass company, and I hit the button to register, and nothing happened.

Yesterday on a different site, I went to place an order, and everything grayed out and it just stayed like that.

What do I need to adjust in order for this to stop happening?

FYI I was having issues signing onto my citizens online checking account and also signing onto my email account with comcast. After a while I disabled the NOSCRIPT extension which solved both issues. I believe this problem may have coincided with release 150.2

It is impossible to access a certain website using Firefox mobile. Edge, Chrome and safari work fine. I tried to turn protection off but it makes no difference. Why is this happening? Site is www.hlc.bike a large b2b distributor in the cycling world.

Been like this ever since I installed FF mobile.

I'm a decades long time Firefox user, and I always keep Firefox updated automatically to whatever is the current version. I've never had any substantial issues with Firefox in the past, but recently I've encountered some rather drastic issues.

Background: I'm ex-IT, so I tend to be ultra-conscientious about security and performance updates all across my system. I'm also highly alert for any signs that my system or apps might be compromised in any way.

Recently, I started noticing that I was unable to scroll with my keypad or keyboard on certain sub-windows and certain pop-ups in some web sites (not all). I could scroll these sub-windows/pop-ups only by touch screen, and until today that has always worked. I've been using this workaround, because I haven't had time to really look into the issue. Most sites worked fine, but many would not.

Today, however, I logged into what I know to be a legitimate web site, https://blueshieldca.com, for some important information, but this time I found I was unable to scroll ANYthing on the site using my keypad, keyboard, or touch screen. I could change pages through the on-site menus, but couldn't navigate further at all on any page. I can see that there is more information cut off at the bottom of the page, but I simply can't scroll the page to view it. I almost never use MS Edge browser, but I tried it today, and I'm not having the same problem using Edge.

I'm also having a slightly different, but similar (related?), Firefox issue with the typical cookie-settings-preferences prompts that appear initially on most web sites. Any time I try to arrow over the cookie prompts, they immediately disappear. I'm completely unable to accept, change, or set cookie preferences on any sites.

I've reviewed all my settings in Firefox and all the add-ons I use. In Firefox itself, I run the following extensions: Brave (default search), DuckDuckGo Privacy Essentials, Ghostery Private Search for Firefox, Malwarebytes Browser Guard, Privacy Badger, and Express VPN (disabled) - I do not run any browser-specific VPN, but I always use Nord VPN on my system. The configuration options are overwhelming, and in spite of investigating every avenue I can think of, I haven't been able to find either a cause or a fix. I'm sure hoping you guys can help me figure this out!

My system is Windows 11 Home (25H2), 64-Bit, on a DELL XPS 13, 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD drive (1/3 free), about 3 years old. In addition to the browser-specific security software mentioned above, I run Bitdefender Security. I haven't made any changes or specific updates to any apps that I can link to the inception of this problem.

Any ideas will be greatly appreciated!

I just installed the new built-in VPN - and it appears to show as running in my Mozilla Accounts page (???).

HOWEVER, that is the only place I see it!!

We have an issue : we reinstalled windows 11 on a machine and thereby lost the account login used to sync Firefox. No way to recover it (we went as far fas as using file recovery tools but no luck).

Is there a way to recover only the account login ? No need for the password. I could provide the IP of the computer in question (it is a professional IP, not shared).

I went to settings to make sure Firefox Home was the default loaded on New Tabs, which it is. How do I fix this?

When I opened up my Firefox this evening, I was greeted by a message stating that I now had access to Firefox VPN with version 150. When I opened up the link showing me how to activate it, I noticed I never got a popup on my browser stating to turn it on. Later when going through the instructions it recommended I try to add it from my toolbar but it was not there either. I am not sure if this was a bug or not but I am really excited for this feature and would love to test it out as soon as possible!🫶

I've now got 2 VPNs. One's called Proxy VeePN (that's how it spells it!) and the other one's your new one.

Proxy VeePN lets me use Pandora Music. Your one doesn't. Pandora can tell I'm in England on your one, it can't with Proxy VeePN (it thinks I'm in Switzerland, pretty sure.)

Why doesn't your one work with Pandora? I haven't tried it with anything else yet but then I really only use a VPN for Pandora Music anyway. Sometimes there's a couple of American games I play, but mainly Pandora. Why is it Proxy VeePN works with Pandora and yours doesn't?

Chris, Windows 10 user cos I can't afford to buy a new computer that works with Windows 11 (I know there's a registry hack but I don't think this one's fast enough anyway, was designed for XP and tends to die a death with 10, let alone 11! Too slow. The computer, not its owner!)

It used to be that when entering a search term in the search bar, you could use the arrow keys to select the search engine before pressing enter to make the experience entirely from the keyboard. Now, one must use the mouse to select the engine to be used. It also does not revert to the default search engine after executing the search.

I attempted to set *browser.urlbar.scotchBonnet.enableOverride* to false, and that did not work. I noticed that I had been involuntarily enrolled in an experimental study: Address Bar Update Rollout v1•rollout Address Bar Experience Update which may be the cause of this unwelcome behavior change. If exiting out of that study is possible to restore the previous functionality, please advise how to achieve this.

Please advise how to bring back this work flow efficiency.
