I have a lot of Firefox windows and tabs open, and I really don't want to lose my session.

I wanted to open a webpage in Firefox in fullscreen mode. But evidently there's some kind of serious flaw in Firefox that makes it incapable of opening webpages in fullscreen mode. Everyone says the only workaround is to open the webpage in kiosk mode. So I tried it.

But now I have two big problems:

1. One of my Firefox windows, with all its tabs, is stuck in kiosk mode. (Even if I close the window and then restore it with Ctrl+Shift+T, it's still in kiosk mode.)

2. All new Firefox windows I open with Ctrl+N are also stuck in kiosk mode.

I don't know what to do, and I'd really appreciate any help. Thanks!

I understand, it's not an easy task, but the browser becomes unusable, if every time I install a new extension, there is no quality check whatsoever, and I end up having to restart in troubleshoot mode to find out which extension is causing parts of the webiste I am visiting to now show up. It's just frustrating. I very much value having to many extensions and that's why I use Firefox on a mac as the main browser, but something has to be done. Extensions should satisfy some basic rules and not cause malfunctioning!

editing a pdf and browser is red underlining words as spelled incorrectly when in fact they are real words and spelled correctly. for example dendrology is being underlined (in this message as well) and it is suggesting demonology instead. How is it that browser recognizes demonology but not dendrology ???

Firefox has just introduced wallpapers for browser home page. I cannot get it to work. It's either cropped too small or pixilated, is there a setting I need to adjust, or a particular image format? So that it looks ok.

I want to save a shortcut on my desktop that will access a particular site in Firefox using private browsing. It appears (?) years ago you could do that by adding -private to the end of the target. That appears to no longer work.

Suggestions?

Question above. Enabling sidebar (for vertical tabs) stops Wikipedia at any zoom from autodisplaying the Table of contents for an individual page.

I really wish I could stop this. Love vertical tabs. Love the Wikipedia Contents displayed by default. Can't have both.

Hi, I have all kinds of ad blockers in my Firefox and today I logged into my music only to have ads coming in one after another. This happened once before a couple of years ago and some how after I complained the ads disappeared again. Now I need the same help.

Translation languages related issues. Firefox doesn't contained all the languages to translate page. This is a big mistake by your developer. Now a days most of browser translate pages into Hindi and Gujarati language. Fix this or I've to go back to use Google Chrome browser as before.

On various websites with embedded podcasts, when the file goes past 1h the volume 'slider' goes away and becomes a basic mute/unmute button. How can i force Firefox to always display the volume slider?

For some reason Firefox remembered my phone number and is now trying to use it as a login when I attempt to login or register in any service. I've checked my saved passwords and autofill data, but I cannot find it, there's only usernames and passwords, and I have no saved autofill data, no phone number. Where can I look for it to remove it?

I'm baffled by the statement of my Browser being managed by my organization since I am a single, non connected entity and have no organization, nor do I want one. I want control since I'm the one paying for it's use. Can you explain how to return control to me and only me? Thanks, KG

I'm a bit out of ideas how I can get Firefox to display the correct characters. For reference: https://learnjapanese.moe/font/

Windows: I only have german and japanese locale installed, i even changed in intl.cpl the language to japanese. I have installed the japanese language pack / fonts and it's showing correctly in any windows editor.

Firefox: Second language set to japanese, disabled all addons, tried it on private mode to no success.

Any ideas how I get the characters to display?

Edit: I made it work by changing in about:config the font.cjk_pref_fallback_order-string to have ja as first.

I can change font size in general via Firefox settings, BUT! whenever I want to download a file from any given website, the download window that appears, in which I can navigate to a folder on my computer and choose a name for the file, has such super small font!!! And to make it worse, the text largely is in a soft gray rather than a nice strong black!

SO hard to read.

I would love an easy way to make this font always bigger for all these situations. If anyone can provide the solution I'm super grateful!
