When I restarted my computer, I was signed out of Firefox. I didn't remember my password and didn't realize creating a new one would deny me access to my bookmarks.
Can I recover my bookmarks? The restore function only lists today as an option after my new password was set (empty). I have no recovery key.

My Hoepage is set to Firefox. In the center of that page is a Search box which I used always. Now when I try to type in it, my cursor shoots up to the top to the ADDRESS bar. I do NOT want to SEARCH from the address bar. I want to search in the Firefox search box. I also have Duckduckgo set up in that search bar. After the last 2 Firefox updates, I can no longer type my search in that box, but can ONLY search in the ADDRESS bar. Please help be restore the use of the Firefox Search box.

Last night I decided I'd get rid of the little triangle on my id icon telling me my account is disconnected. I succeeded getting rid of it, but it screwed up my url for my homepage. Now when I try to set my homepage (c:/Users/mnose/Pictures/Pictures/Kidz/Photo-0002.jpg) I get this message: file:///c:/Users/mnose/Pictures/Pictures/Kidz/Photo-0002.jpg " The address wasn’t understood
Firefox doesn’t know how to open this address, because one of the following protocols (cfile) isn’t associated with any program or is not allowed in this context."
How do I get rid of this, and how do I set up my homepage? It's been set the same way for over 10 years until last night. It's very frustrating that there's no explanation.

Why can't I go to saltlife.com when I've gone to this 333 times and ordered items from them for YEARS? Also, when I'm at Kohls.com, I cannot access a site, when shopping to access part of my shopping experience. Am I going to have to change my browser to be able to shop there? Cleared the history, turned off syncing, closed tabs on other devices before I turned off syncing. I see on setting for autofill address bars etc. Mobile firefox settings are reduced it seems. I am on IOS if that matter. I don't know what else would be useful.

Despite having blocked this website from sending me notifcations, via the Mozilla Firefox settings page - they appear to continue.
The notifications propourt to be from McAfee, however, are coming from this website.
