FIrefox version 145.0.1 on a Windows computer.

Recently, whenever I open Firefox all my bookmarks are gone.

Booksmarks Toolbar is set to Always Show.

The only way to make them show is to uninstall and reinstall. And I have to do this every single time I turn on my computer. Getting very sick of this very quickly.

Your not on my apps default list. I was told to uninstall Firefox, and reboot and re-install, I had premium adblock, now I don't, and Firefox still on the default browser list? Whatup? How can You help Me?

When trying to download statements from my TSC webpage, I cannot find the download button that is usually displayed in the upper, right-hand corner. When I use "downloads" from the dropdown menu, nothing appears in the download box that pops up.

While using Anthropic's Claude Ai utility in Firefox, I began receiving constant errors, stating that Claude was unable to download files, but continued to allow me to download files. As of tonight, download has stopped and just fails. Nothing gets downloaded.

I believe I had all this synced in Firefox Settings before I made the upgrade. Like all you fellow former users of Windows 10, I had to upgrade to Windows 11; and did so two days ago. Now, I found that I do not have under History any of the former sites I not only visited but also had tabs open. What can I do, if anything, to recover them? Under the Add-ons Manager, if this helps, I already had the app Tab Session Manager, but don't know how to use it. Thanks to all in advance who may have made this same upgrade. Many out there are still on Windows 10.

I have lost all the short cuts on my home page. As I use these very frequently, this is a big problem for me. I know this problem has been raised previously, but none of the solutions work for me.

I have checked the short cuts still exist in about:config...newtabs.pinned. They are still there. I've refreshed Firefox. I've loaded the latest version I've toggled the number of lines of short cuts in 'customise' I've enabled sponsored short cuts I can get recent activity slots, and curated stories. I do not want to set up a completely new profile as I have an extensive list of bookmarks.

Is there anything else I can do?

I'm not a PC expert. "Search Bookmarks" does not list all my previous bookmarks. In layman's terms, how do I recover them for daily use? The few that are listed were previously rarely used. Thank you for your help.

I am facing an accessibility issue in Firefox when I try to use a screen reader on different online forms. The problem appears when the page has multiple dynamic fields. The screen reader skips some labels and does not read the updated content after new options appear.

I noticed this recently while checking an online service form similar to the eight one seven one web portal where the form loads new sections based on user input. In Firefox the screen reader does not announce these new sections, but in another browser it reads everything correctly.

The issue remains the same.

I want to know: Is this a known accessibility issue related to dynamic form updates Is there any setting in Firefox that helps screen readers detect newly loaded elements Do I need to change anything in the accessibility permissions or advanced settings

I’m facing a strange issue after the recent Firefox update. Whenever I try to install or update Firefox to the latest version, the process stops midway and a small popup appears related to a “challan notification” from a website I recently visited.

After this popup appears:

The installation freezes

Automatic updates fail

Firefox sometimes restarts but remains on the old version

No error code is shown, just the interrupted update process

I have already tried:

Clearing cache & cookies

Restarting Firefox

Safe Mode

Reinstalling Firefox manually

Checking firewall/antivirus settings

But the problem still occurs.

I want to confirm:

Is any website notification (like a challan reminder or traffic-alert site) capable of interrupting Firefox updates?

Does Firefox block updates if a previous session was not closed properly due to such popups?

What is the correct method to force a clean update without affecting my browsing data?

Please guide me on how to fix this issue. Thank you!

Less a question, more a statement. On most updates (every? I don't know) I loose my dictionaries and the spellchecking does no longer work.

Also, after an update the browser just ... dies. I mean it still works but it is if I would have no internet. Usually some tabs die before the others.

So yeah, this little rant hopefully opens a ticket and you guys can check if others have the same problem.

Also if you are wondering why nobody is upgrading. Yeah, that is the reason. I try to delay it as much as possible.

I cannot access sites such as my live.com email and Facebook because it keeps saying wrong password, and even when I try changing the password in the Password section it will still not work.

I have just updated to 145.0.1 and i have some passwords saved as exceptions, so I do not have to log in every time... They are saved still but it is still making me sign in, does auto fills but i have to sign in and go through security checks.. They are saved in exceptions... Also tabs are not opening in new window still , since the last 2 Firefox updates. Are working as they used too in other browser.. I would love some help please. A running Win 11 updated from 10
