Not able to open yahoo mail in Firefox Multi-Account Containers tab. firefox version 142.0.1. Windows 10. Works with GMail. When a container tab is opened and you enter "Mail.yahoo.com", firefox tab alternates between (i) login.yahoo.com/?.src=ym&pspid=xxxxxxx and (ii) mail.yahoo.com/d

It has always been the case that when I closed Firefox, it asked if I wanted my open files saved and reopened when I opened the browser again. I needed to restart my laptop and I decided to close Firefox first. It asked if tabs should be saved and I said yes. After I restarted the laptop and reopened Firefox, all of my open tabs (I think about 35) were gone. Can I get them back?

Why when using Firefox on Facebook does the back button or closing a window take you to the top of a new timeline instead of back to my previous location? It's frustrating.

Neither Chrome or Edge does this so I'm inclined to believe it has something to do with Firefox's code. Chrome has an alternative, the ESC button takes you back where you were.

Any answers?

I used to leave many tabs opened in my browser so that when I got back I could easily find the one I wanted to use.

Now I can't because the Mozilla browser just won't save them. So each time that I open the browser they are all gone...

... Is there somersetting I can DO????

How can I change the settings on Firefox so that only one window opens when I initially open up Firefox? I current get a window with my home page and then two tabs with my home tab.

Browser doesn't click elements on first google page. Neither "people ask" elements, nor "more images" and images even. But only on the first page. When I change to "images" tab, then it's ok. Plus doesn't click elements like left, right arrow on images on reddit.

Tried without extensions, new profile. All the same.

How to disable the auto-adding of shortcuts feature from history to home page? It's really annoying, when I want to change my pinned shortcuts, I have to delete all auto added shorcuts (Even when the items on the screen are finished, they keep appearing in front of me, and this takes a long time). It is a must feature I think.

I can NO longer log into my BANK, I changed the security settings back to "standard" but I STILL CANNOT LOG INTO MY BANK. it's website acts as though I'm a new customer & want's me to open an account,I ALREADY HAVE AN ACCOUNT & HAVE HAD AN ACCOUNT AT THAT BANK FOR MANY YEARS! I have jumped through many "loops" at the bank trying to fix this mess, but they can't,FIREFOX IS NOW THE PROBLEM & someone needs to find out what they changed in their updates that has prevented me from logging into my BANK.

As of Updating to 142.0.1 (64 bit, Windows 10) yesterday, the Home Page / New Tab page now has DOZENS of RECOMMENDED STORIES under different Topics, instead of the former more compact and manageable grid or 15 or 18 items.

Under SETTINGS - HOME - RECOMMENDED STORIES it seems you can only toggle RECOMMENDED STORIES ON or OFF.

On the Home / New Tab page itself, you can only Select whether to FOLLOW or BLOCK Topics. The page is now TOO LONG and much TOO BUSY and not worth endlessly Scrolling to find the two or three articles of possible interest.

QUESTION: Where is, or Why is there Not, an Option for the former "Legacy" RECOMOMENDED STORIES? The Alternative is to turn RECOMMENDED STORIES OFF - which defeats the purpose of supporting your News or Advertisers to Support MOZILLA.

The Display Options for SHORTCUTS offers choices of 2 rows, 3 rows, etc ... Why Not an Option for RECOMMENDED STORIES limiting to a fixed number as well ?

Why is the icon of the bookmark constantly disappearing in the bookmark of PC world? I have repeatedly found that when I open the PC world page via this bookmark and some posts that this icon suddenly disappeared. The font of the bookmark remains and the sign is also functional but the icon is missing. With the DB browser I can restore the icon. But until the next opening of the PC world side, the game starts all over again. In Firefox 142.01 this is the only process. All other icons are stable. I use Adobe a lot to open pdf forms from business accounts online. Recently, when I click on the downloaded pdf, they will auto-open now, but I have to completely quit out of Adobe before a second pdf can be opened.

I thought it might be an Adobe issue, but the same thing happened with a different file type that does not use Adobe. I tried to open a downloaded picture (jpg) and could only open one, then close out of preview before opening a second picture. It is definitely a problem with the Firefox downloads and how they are being processed.
