Firefox keeps crashing, or better doesnt even open. In Task Maneger on my Windows 11 System I didnt even see the task preformed. So I tried to uninstall Firefox and reinstall Firefox, still the same Problem. I tried to refresh Firefox but it was no use. Sometimes for a brief moment of time a small window opens with the Firefox logo, for two seconds I can read the word Firefox Troubleshoot but it closes instantly. I need Firefox as my Browser and would like to have it back in use as soon as possible. Thank you for your help LH

Title, i really don't want that small icon on every new tab. You can move it in toolbar customization , but you can't remove it completely. It loads automatically when opening any tab at all , so i see it for a split second. It really bugs me.

Sir ,recently I had problem with browsing of fire fox can you please restore my firefox to its earlier glory with no problems for browsing ans choosing bookmarks as I like ? Please restore all my previous bookmarks by importing or in any other way.

The title sums it up. • Does anyone know why FFx , when opened following my MacBook Pro Restart, opens without any of my selected Tabs AND then provides no History of my last FFx session??? • Hours of Internet research, vanishes! It really p--- me off! • This has happened at least 4 or 5 times in the past year to year and a half and on both computers. And I do stay on top of my FFx updates. If a Notice appears on my screen, I usually install within 24 hours. • This last time (today) I had previously updated FFx a few hours earlier and then I needed to run a Restart of the computer.... • MBPro fires back up, I open FFx and nothing in the Tabs Header. GONE! Poof! • I go to Browsing History - no Restore Previous Session (by any other term) • Doesn't it seem logical? THAT fundamental function would be right there, top of the list?!?! • HERE IS THE KICKER: In FFx I opened the FFx "About Firefox" menu and noticed it says, amidst all the provided information, "Failed to check for updates." • BS! It was following the update that FFx Tabs vanished! How can it insert that statement? Was I suppose to do something other than click "OKAY". And then the new version begins when FFx is reopened. Right? • If this comes down to the older OS on the computer (10.13.6) I should not be receiving update notices from FFx. If so, a notice of, "Your Mac's OS is too old to run FireFox's latest version" would be what I should receive. So, as you can tell, I'm frustrated and baffled at the same time. Any thoughts? Hi. While clearing my browser history the other night some of my bookmarks also got deleted. I understand once browser history is deleted it cannot be recovered, but is there any way a deleted bookmark can be recovered?

Suddenly they broke after the 140.0 update, but as it turns out, this is the case everywhere. Does anyone know what the problem is?

Verified on: Firefox Desktop, Chromium Desktop, Firefox Mobile Font: Calibri (No changes), Roboto (No changes) I've scoured half the internet, as if I were the only one with this problem...

Not sure if this is a silly question to ask, but I've noticed that when I use browser Instagram on Firefox it displays emoticons as emojis. For example if I type "<3" (less than 3) it'll display a heart emoji. It doesn't actually convert it In the message though, my friends say it sends what I type.

I'm just wondering why this is happening and how to stop it, I've checked settings for everything and cannot find anything about it. Thank you in advance.

There are times that I use the screenshot tool on X.com and the filename it saves to is WAY too long. Sometimes it tries to use the entire content of the post as the filename. I see this effect in the title bar as well. Is there a way to change it so it only uses a date/timestamp and nothing else? Attached is an example of this extremely long naming. idk when exactly this nonsense happen or with which update but thats outrageous.

why the hell it canceled in my setting the check mark at startup for opening previous tabs?! i haven't touched the settings in ages since i set them up so it had to be one of your stupid updates.

fortunatly chatgpt had a solution to bring all my tabs back otherwise i'd fucking rage out.

i'v been using firefox for ages but after this i was really thinking i should switch to something else.
