During the last week I have had the same issue come up on two computers. When starting firefox, the previously saved windows come up blank (no tabs, no content) and nothing works (no opening new tabs or urls). I was able to get firefox back to working condition by renaming extensions folder and then copying extensions one by one back to normal extension folder. When I copied 'newtab@mozilla.org.xpi' the issue came up again. Also, the new tab extension keeps auto adding it self every other boot.

I am using the (unsupported) compact mode for firefox UI density.

When I try to sign into Amazon, windows needs a passkey that is requested by Mozilla....I never set this up or wanted a passkey and I don't know how to get around it.....I am completely locked out.

Why I am receiving regular message from web page "https://fno.5paisa.com/open-interest/oi-dashboard?name=HINDALCO&exch=N&exchtype=D" that this page is slowing firefox, stop it ?

Following a reboot yesterday I could not get any audio output from any web page. I checked my output speakers using windows and found no problem. I opened Edge and had no problem. I can play video recordings from other external sources with no problem. This is something within Firefox. I have tried the various investigations from the help system and none of these worked.

Hello I have Firefox 144.0 (64-bit) installed. I added Video DownloadHelper to Firefox, but its icon doesn't appear in the Firefox toolbar. I've tried using Toolbar Customization, but the Video DownloadHelper icon doesn't appear there either, so I can't drag it to the toolbar. Can you help me put the Video DownloadHelper icon on the Firefox toolbar? Thank you

I apologize if this is not the best place, I didn't want to submit a bug report at this point because it could possibly be something on my side.

I work at a company where we use a mix of Firefox, Chrome, and Edge. I am a web developer and I have created a couple of web-based systems for my employer. In typical fashion, when a form is submitted, we use JavaScript to first verify the form as well as handle the submission. For the first three years or so, there were never any issues with any of the browsers.

The past two months or so, though, my Firefox users have been reporting problems as their forms will sometimes not submit.

Below is the final bit of code that performs the submission: if (formvalid) { console.log("test 1"); document.getElementById('mainForm').submit(); console.log("test 2"); document.getElementById('submitbutton').disabled = true; console.log("test 3"); }

It outputs test 1, test 2, test 3 to the console, so I know it has passed my verification and is reaching this part of the code. And the button with id "submitbutton" disables, but the form's submit() action does not get carried out.

If I manually re-enable the button from the console and press the button again, it submits properly in every test case so far.

I tested in my environment using Firefox, and initially it seemed to be working fine for me, but after about 20-30 tests, it did display the above behavior on my system, as well (I have tested to this extent and reproduced the situation about 5 times, just to ensure it wasn't a fluke). For my regular Firefox users, though, they run into the problem more often, maybe 5-10x times per week through typical usage. But it doesn't *usually* happen to them, just often enough to be a nuisance.

It does not output any errors to the console when it fails to submit.

What I've tried: switching order of disable action and submit action Button type of "button" vs. button type of "submit" inline onClick="" method vs. addEventListener document.getElementById('mainForm') vs. document.forms['mainForm'] adding a delay to prevent race conditions (although I don't think it really applies here)

All of the above had no noticeable impact.

We are all now on Windows 11, but this happened when ones of my users was still in Windows 10, so it seems unrelated to the OS version.

My Chrome and Edge users don't experience this behavior.

I should mention just in case there is any codebase difference as opposed to strictly localization, we are in an all-Japanese environment and use Firefox in Japanese.

Up to a few days ago I was able to see "View all memories" from One Drive in Firefox. Not anymore.

I am subscribed to One Drive. Every few days I get an email from One Drive with the past memories from the day of the email. I will open the emails and click on "View all memories" then it would take me to the One Drive and I would be able to see those pictures individually. For a few days now I have not been able to do this on Firefox anymore. The website goes to gray like it is trying to download the pictures but it gets stuck there.

This is happening both on my desktop with Windows 7 and my laptop with Window 11. Everything works in the Microsoft Edge browser. I can see all the images individually from that day.

I have communicated this problem to Microsoft One Drive and it seems to be a browser problem. Is there any way that this problem can be solved in the Firefox browser?

after updating to the latest version FF kills my net connection after loading. edge and all of my other apps are working fine. i am typing this on edge.

i have a lot of FF tabs but that has never been a problem in the past.

Even though I've given permission for pop-up windows on outlook.live.com/mail, I have to give permission for each pop-up. I use a Dell PC and Windows 10 (with extended updates to 2026).

The Firefox notification closes, but returns the next time I open the Outlook tab.

Can this be fixed?

For the past few months, I have had a problem with my computer - it seems to try to write to a hard disk (sounds like whirring ) and the keyboard freezes up for a few minutes, when whirring in the computer stops. I have taken the computer to Geek Squad two times and they said they found it, but it still happens.

I have just tried Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge and I haven't noticed it. Is this a problem with Firefox or just coincidence?

I can not find the add-ons in firefox I have looked exactly as directed and it is not there.

You can help by telling me how to make it show up lie it is supposed to.

I recently upgraded to Mac OS Tahoe 26.0.1 and opened Firefox as usual. None of my accounts are visible and when I try to follow instructions to go to settings and find my profile I cannot do that either. I cannot change the search location when the account settings window opens.

I thought to do an update but everytime I go there I get the message that Firefox is up to date.

Does anyone have a solution?

I moved most of the non critical passwords from keypassXC to Firefox. I don't see in Firefox password manager how to add a comment or a valid until date. Is there a way to do this? Thank you
