Like I said. I asked a question earlier this afternoon; Where should I look for an answer? I'm pretty new to this and I can't seem to find it on my own. Thanks Dick

Hi crudoyle, you can access your questions in any of the following ways:

  • At the top of the support site, mouse over your user name and choose View Profile from the menu
  • From the main questions page, find My Contributions in the filters list
  • From an email notification of a reply, follow the link to view the reply online

Most support forums are busy and have new posts constantly, so searching page after page is frustrating. In the future, it might be a good practice to bookmark your new thread so you can go to it directly.

I checked. You posted your bookmark question twice, Each message has a response. If you don't remember how to get to them, check; https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/search?a=1&asked_by=dick888&sortby=1&w=2

The same place where you asked question. If someone has replied It appears just like this one. :)

No, that question was only posted once.
Both links that show in the result link to the same forum thread.
Someone who didn't notice this seemed to have locked this one thread and I've unlocked it.

I created a thread about this.

That was not my question. My question was: How can I bookmark an email into two folders? I can bookmark an email into Folder A, but when I then bookmark it into File B, the email in File A disappears. Help.

It seem the forum software glitched somehow and dissociated your other question.

If you are referring to Firefox bookmarks, you cannot easily bookmark the same page in two places, e.g., two different parts of the bookmark hierarchy. Firefox is designed to prevent duplicates. However, method have been devised to do it. For example:

Ok, I'm with Dick. Advising me to look 'where I asked the question' is a bit pointless, as I asked it two screens back and when I go back there all it invites me to do is ask another question.

You can only create a bookmark in two locations by making a copy of the bookmark (Copy/Paste or Ctrl drag) or drag the website favicon or tab in the sidebar or otherwise to a bookmarks folder.

To find your contributions you can find a link at the top of the index page (Sort and Filter > My Contributions) or via View Profile if you click your name at the top of a forum page.

I have this problem too, and am struggling with this. I asked my 1st ever question on 17 Aug and confirmed my account link in email to post question. Have tried Chosen Solution above:

  • At the top of the support site, mouse over your user name and choose View Profile from the menu
  • From the main questions page, find My Contributions in the filters list

There isn't a main questions page only Ask a Question. I used advanced search to look for My Contribution and could find nothing. It's too tedious to search through all relevant answer posts, I just want to quit.

How do I delete the question anyway?? No rude answers or I shall report it as abuse, thanks in advance.
