Hello Irit.

You should update to Firefox 3.6.3, instead of 3.5. Hopefully that will fix your issue. Previous versions of Firefox are not supported and have known bugs and security problems. You should update to the latest version of Firefox, for maximum stability, performance, security and usability. You can get it for free, as always, at www.getfirefox.com. Firefox 3.5 is still supported though, so you can keep using it, if you like. I don't recommend it, though.

If updating doesn't fix your issues, you may be having a problem with some extension or plugin that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?
