no sound in browser in browser after this mornings update
Started up Firefox this morning and was prompted for some updates and settings changes. Decided to skip those as there was something i wanted to do. Now I have no sound in Firefox, on any site. tested local files in VLC player and i have sound. even uninstalled and reinstalled my sound device. still no sound in Firefox. i do have sound in chrome. so it is a firefox issue. and 2 reboots have not resolved it. need to know what to check next ? please and thank you.

Not sure about Win8, but do you have a similar settings that show volume mixer. see screenshot
that was it. thank you. had no idea it had its own fader in the mixer. thank you.
