profile files getting corrupt
Hi
For some reason i have to format my PC, so i took firefox profile backup "a4bbv2q5.default" and after reinstalling windows and firewall I copied the content of a4bbv2q5.default to new profile "n9pw9oja.default-release". But as i start firefox the important files get renamed "corrupted" and a new file replaces, hence my restore of old profile is not completed. Screenshoot for reference.
Please help and assist.

Can you specify what exactly happens when you start Firefox? Did any of the backup data on profile still get carried over to the new one even after some files get corrupted? And could you show which files exactly were getting corrupted as well?
Only extension is carried over, rest all files just become useless, no bookmarks, history, login details.
Actually, why are the number of files in the 2 profile different? 68 in the old one and 79 in the new one.

Ok, so when you are copying the backup to the new profile, have you tried deleting the contents of the new profile first?
I tried to open the .sqlite file in sqlite program and it says not a database file/corrupted. I think these files need to be repaired or fixed.
That is a most troublesome issue. Sorry I cannot be of help in that regard, wish you the best of luck in repairing the corrupted files.
