Unable to see Unicode like normal
I've been having this issue since yesterday. I haven't downloaded or done anything since recently to make me think it'd tamper with the unicode. I use a Macbook and I'm on High Sierra, but another macbook I have is on the same macOS and has firefox can see things fine. It appears now as a box with little numbers inside of it. Things like U+13083, which I'm normally able to see, don't show anymore. I tried going through Apple Support to see if the issue was about my computer, but none of the methods given solved my problem.

You see the little box with the hex code when Firefox doesn't find a font that supports this Unicode codepoint. I don't have a suitable font as well.
That's what I was told, but it was working fine a day ago. I could see U+13083 along with other ones. But after I opened my computer yesterday none of them have been the same. I have another computer where I tried to see if it was having the same issue and it wasn't. It's the same year, same MacOS, and was done on Firefox??
We have seen cases where font are installed and managed by third-party font managers in a non standard location that is blocked by the sandbox.
Is there a way I can unblock them then?
