WILL MY "AD BLOCK PLUS" WORK ON THIS? DOES IT SAVE FAVORITES? HOW MUCH DISK SPACE DOES IT USE? WILL I HAVE CONFLICTS WITH MICROSOFT "NEW EDGE" BROWSER?

Welcome to Firefox Support.
There are many "Ad Block" add-ons available for Firefox.
In Firefox "favorites" are known as bookmarks, which Firefox does have.
Under 1GB total, but that will grow as Firefox is used more and more, and saves "user data" and browsing history accumulates. Which can be easily cleared or limits are set by the user.
No conflicts with Edge for the most part; the few that might be experienced are easily 'fixed'. Typically with Bing wresting control of the Default Search Engine from any user installed 3rd party web browser or application.
