So about a week or so ago I got a second-hand Lenovo Yoga 500. The owner bought it in 2016 and then sold it to me on eBay. I'm very happy with it, but I've been noticing that, while the Pentium chip is zippy enough most times, Firefox seems to slow it down considerably. Chrome does it to a lesser extent, and I haven't tested Microsoft Edge. To fix the problem, I have tried:

-Refreshing Firefox -Running in Safe Mode -Toggling hardware acceleration -Decreasing the number of tab processes -Force disabling accessability. -Updating the BIOS.

Nothing works! Does anyone have a solution. about:config muck-arounds accepted.
