Recently within the last day or so i have started getting black blocks when i scroll down a page, or if i go to my bookmarks it doesnt allow me to add jpg so cant show you
I tried the same in IE but nothing happens it only seems to be firefox.
Any help is appreciated i write emails in forms and i get black blocks and disappears after a few seconds but damn annoying.

After scouring the net and no solutions for this issue which was pissing me off i decided to download a previous version of FF
Currently i have Version 33
I downloaded Version 30 as there didnt seem any problems with it.
I uninstalled Firefox, removed profiles from program files - used CC Cleaner cleaned up my registry and installed Version 30
All loaded up no problems and no more black blocks
So there is an issue bigtime with V33
This is what i was getting in the image file.
I also turned off automatic updates

Hi there,
Weird stuff! That sounds like something that *could* be caused by some add-on that you may have installed. That's all I can think of at the top of my head. One thing I would encourage you to try is Reset Firefox: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/reset-firefox-easily-fix-most-problems. It restores your Firefox settings back to normal while trying to preserve most of the data that you care about (bookmarks, saved passwords etc). Give it a try and see if it helps.
Thanks!
- David

Did you try Reset Firefox in version 33? Would be good to know that this is solved for you in more recent versions as well, as we don't want you to stick with 30 for much longer since we're not actively maintaining it with security updates.
Thanks!
Such issues can be a problem with hardware acceleration in Firefox.
You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.
- Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"
You need to close and restart Firefox after toggling this setting.
Same thing here. What @cor-el said (disabling hardware acceleration) worked fine. Thanks, cor-el!
I have the same problem as well as my friend. It comes up with fx 33 beta 7. Disabling hard drive accel does fix it, but apparently it's not an ultimate solution.
