I'm chasing a problem with 1Password not auto-filling fields. please can you tell me how to delete Firefox and extension then re-install both. Firefox 146.0.1 MacOS 15.7.3

I have been using the synchronization of bookmarks and settings with my account for years. A few days ago, Firefox suddenly asked me if I wanted to create a profile. Since I had never used this feature in depth before, I selected the default “Original Profile” option. Since then, the profile name “Original Profile” has always been displayed in the tab title bar. I don't understand the point of this, but it causes me major problems because I manage my passwords using KeePass. To log in to the desired pages with Auto-Type, KeePass recognizes the tab title bar and automatically enters the data. Due to the above-mentioned change in Firefox, all my passwords are now useless because the profile name is displayed everywhere in the title bar and I would have to resave Auto-Type for all stored passwords (several hundred). This is very annoying. Why was this introduced and why is there no option to disable it? Very annoying!!!!!

When will there be a solution for this?

I can't find a place to manage my payment methods. The only place I found that was when I check out and fill in my information in a store website.

The browser suggests my card and under that it says "Manage payment methods".

When I click that it opens "about:preferences#privacy-form-autofill" and then quickly becomes "about:preferences#privacy".

Firefox is still freezing when entering incorrect info in the Google Sign-in page (when I try to sign in on www.youtube.com); - if I enter the wronglogin info & press enter, the firefox window becomes useless & I cannot cancel/close the window. & Help menu is greyed-out for the frozen window & any new window I open;

- i have to go to macOS' Activity Monitor & Force Quit the 'AuthenticationServicesHelper' (Firefox), then the window becomes responsive. This makes it impossible to use Firefox & if someone didn't know this, they wouldn't know how to fix it.

- this has been an ongoing issue & the previous time i submitted this, it was removed for "not being a question" (???) but it still important & I still hope it gets fixed someday?

I do not care it it’s optional. I do not care if there is a “kill switch”. Firefox should not be wasting it’s time on these features in the first place, as it has been nothing but an active detriment to the user experience on every platform on which it has been implemented. Nobody asked for this. Nobody wants this. I installed Firefox because I saw that it was different from other browsers, mainly in the way that it was not following the latest tech fads straight off a cliff. If the new leadership decides to change that, then I see no reason to stick around.

We have a question about bookmarks sync, with specific characteristics, please.

We purchased another computer, a laptop, and wish to benefit from the bookmarks sync between them. However, we're affraid of a backward syncing situation. How can we make sure we prevent that?

For example, say we worked on the desktop for a week, and then need to use the laptop. What should we do when we turn the laptop on and open ff browser, if we wish to sync from the desktop to the laptop? Do we press the Sync button on the laptop? - or will that force a backward synching from the laptop to the desktop? If that's the case, than how do we sync reliabely? And let's say the day after, from the now-updated-laptop to the desktop? Is the safest way to do it by turning the sync option off, and copying the bookmarkbackup folder from one updated computer to the other?

Also, this may complicate things a bit - We use the browser bookmarks in a non traditional way. It's kind of an archive for us. The .jsonlz4 file size in bookmarkbackups folder is 37MB. We remember reading somewhere before, the server backups stores files up to 10MB. So, question is, does the large size or the bookmarks file will affect the synching process between computers?

I have enabled the option to open the previous windows and tabs. I had one window that I always closed last as it had a lot of groups that are important for my work, so it used to open every time I started Firefox. Sometimes, even if I closed the window by mistake without closing other windows, I was able to get it back by pressing ctrl+shift+n.

But yesterday, I might have closed it by mistake and when I pressed ctrl+shift+n , it didn't come back. I wasn't able to access my window and now it's all gone. I don't see anything in recently closed windows in history.

I need those tabs back as they are very important for my work. they were a lot of tabs. I had many groups but now all are gone. I tried by using the previous.jsonlz4 in the sessionstore-backup by renaming it in the default-release profile as sesstionstore.jsonlz4 but still wasn't able to access my window.

I didn't clear my history as the tabs opened in the window still show up in the history.

Hello, I want to make sure I do not have any paying services active earlier this year i had issues with data breach I did cancel some services but, i did not realize some came all from Mozilla like Firefox relay,mozilla vpn, mozilla monitor etc. I also seem to have created at some point two accounts one using my gmail and one using my hotmail since both emails had the data breach issues. hello Ive been dealing with this constant battle of Firefox working for about a week and then just completely stops randomly. This problem never occurred when i was on windows 10 but ever since i installed windows 11 this has started to happen. If i turn on my desktop and Firefox doesn't work i have to either refresh Firefox through the uninstaller or boot into safe mode and then boot into regular and it will work for a couple days and then stop again its a full on cycle and in tired of dealing with this mess just to keep using your guys browser. I don't want to leave Firefox but it doesn't really leave me a choice unless you guys can help me solve this problem.

Hello, I periodically check to see if there is a way to stop dynamic tab resizing without having to edit the registry. I have tried several methods involving tab size in settings and nothing has worked to stop the dynamic resizing. Any new ideas out there?
