I want to sync my Firefox on a new computer where Firefox 37.0.2 has just been newly installed. But after entering my Sync login I get in the status bar the message "Sync error. Invalid user name or password. Sync will try this action again autiomatically" The user name and password are DEFINITIVELY the same with wich my other compurter AND my cellphone are synching withoiut problem. Only there the Firefox version my be a little bit older. Could this be the problem? When upgrading to the new sync on my other computer before I learned that the Firefox version must be the same on all synched decvices. Although the mobile version on my celphone would be dirffernet anyway. Thanks for any help! Thomas

Hi SolarTom, Yep that might be the issue exactly. You might be successfully syncing on the old sync. The new one: accounts.firefox.com

Try to Disconnect Sync and Reconnect to Sync.

Try to delete the signedInUser.json file in the profile folder with Firefox closed and possibly delete the Weave folder as well.
