I do want to say that Firefox browser is much better the Internet Explorer.

It is much faster.

If it's on a commercial blog service, perhaps they might have some insight on the difference between the blogs and be able to provide some support.

To check one other thing now, open Firefox's Browser Console (Ctrl+Shift+j) and click the Clear button on the toolbar of the console to flush out whatever's there. Also "unclick" the CSS button on that toolbar so that style warnings are not cluttering up the display for now.

Leave the console open, and back in Firefox, try to login again. What you should see when looking in the console, is the URL of whatever page the login form submits to. Then I'm not sure what else might come up, URL or error message-wise. Does anything see peculiar?

When you click a URL, a small box will appear which shows the request and response headers. The actual form data and response page are not shown (you can show these if you like by right-clicking a URL and turn on the request/response bodies option, then repeating the login test). Among the response headers may be some error or redirect information. Explaining all the possibilities would take a book, but you could copy/paste anything you have a question about. If you want to obscure the URL of your block, just change the domain name to example.com.

If I visit one of my public blogs like a person that is not logged in, they are fine.

I would expect only a few lines to be added by the attempt to log in (avoid closing and opening the console, since that adds a greeting each time). But then I guess you would see all the URLs for the login page again. I'd focus just on the first few items: your login request, any error/response, up to getting the login page back again.

If it doesn't provide any insight, I would try WordPress's forums: http://en.forums.wordpress.com/

I think you and I have worked long enough today.

I will contact WordPress tomorrow and see if they can solve the problem.

Hi MistyRain, I'm glad you found that.

The private browsing test should have allowed third party cookies temporarily within the private window. Apparently that test didn't work as expected. I'll have to suggest manually checking cookie settings next time.
