I want Protonmail as my default mail for Firefox. Windows 11 allows me to install Protonmail as an application. I cannot find or use that application in order to use my Protonmail email as my 'mailto' option in Firefox. Why does Firefox not allow this? Why can't Firefox find and suggest the Windows 11 Protonmail app in its list of suggestions under 'mailto' options?

I did. Those configurations do not exist. Protonmail simply cannot be used as 'mailto' option for Firefox.
