I have followed the directions to import my favorites from Edge. I am told the action is complete but nothing is imported.

Hi PatIrish, I'm still running Windows 7, so I don't have personal experience with importing from Edge. Generally speaking, though, your Edge bookmarks might not end up in the expected location after importing. While you are still in the "Library" window (Firefox's bookmarks organizer where you do the import), could you check:

  • Is there an "Imported Bookmarks" folder at the bottom of the Bookmarks Menu?
  • Is there an "Imported Bookmarks" folder under "Other Bookmarks"?

If you find one of those, you can manually cut-and-paste or drag-and-drop from that folder to a more useful location.

If you don't find the missing bookmarks anywhere, hmm, we might have to try a two step "Export"/"Import" approach. This is the article on importing an HTML-format export file from another browser into Firefox, but I don't know the steps to export from Edge.
