If you decide to delete, google what you are deleting as you do not want to delete something just because it has a offer page to update.

As the http://fvdmedia.com/fvd-welcome-ff/ page shows this is due to the Flash Video Downloader extension you have installed from https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/flash-video-downloader/ as you can see in you more system details on right of your OP.

You can check the home page setting.

Firefox supports multiple home pages separated by '|' (pipe) symbols.

You can check for problems with preferences.

Delete possible user.js and numbered prefs-##.js files and rename/remove the prefs.js file to reset all prefs to the default value including prefs set via user.js and prefs that are no longer supported in current Firefox releases.
