This issue can be caused by an extension that isn't working properly.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Appearance
  • do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window

I had been using FireFox for a while now and always download from the .org site and never had this problem till today, but this just happened and I get concerned with these issues especially when I just built this computer 3 weeks ago using the new AMD Ryzen platform. I'm going to uninstall FireFox and Google, reinstall and see if the helps. I'll let you know. Thanks for the assist.

Thank for the assist guys. The problem was an email add-on trying to access my email through the new Tab. If you look at the screenshot I added, at the end of the URL, it was telling me partially where the problem was. I simply removed that add-on. Problem solved. I also had a problem with the ICloud add-on being undefined and removed it too. Thank again for the help!
