Why cannot a User Name be the normal full E Mail Address?

Please update to Firefox 29 (Update Firefox to the latest release)

I assume you are talking about the username for this site, and the reason for that being we don't want you to have the publicly visible username be something sensitive like an e-mail. Otherwise you'd start to get a lot of spam.
