I cannot find a DJVU reader plugin nor any information about this from the search bar although google search turned up old discussions on this. Why no plugin?
There is nothing appearing when I search for plugins with DJVU as topic. How can this be? I see that there are separate programs such as Caminova that come with plugins, but I do not want to install a program, only a plugin.
- Shockwave Flash 11.8 r800
- Adobe PDF Plug-In For Firefox and Netscape 11.0.0
- User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:24.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/24.0
okay, but i cannot install exe files because i am not admin. So I have to rely on whatever my admin gives me. It seems like a reader as a plugin should be available without doing a software install. IMHO
Nothing at sourceforge seemed to have any bearing on a Firefox plugin. Am I missing something? Which Windows software there would help with viewing a site using DjVu?
Quoting from the linked page
DjVuLibre includes a standalone viewer, a browser plug-in (for Mozilla, Firefox, ...
Of course if you do not have permissions you may need to contact your Admin.
I may be stupid, but I downloaded DjVuLibre and all I find is a standalone viewer, not a plugin.
