How do I get firefox to play an mp3 file instead of asking to download it?
example here ... http://dota2.gamepedia.com/Abaddon_responses ... I want to listen to one of the files, but instead it asks me what I want to open it with. If I refresh the page a few times it works..it doesn't ask to open it with something, but 95% of the time, it asks to "open with". Someone help please.

There is no need to disable the full filter list, only the particular filter rule that blocks this content needs to be disabled for this website. If you disable the entire filter set then you make ABP completely useless. You probably can click or right-click the ABP icon on the Add-ons bar to see what get blocked and by which rule. I've never used ABP personally, so I can't give precise instructions.

Looks that this website is using a Flash player (SoundManager) to play those sounds.
If Firefox sometimes want to download files then this came be caused by an extension that prevents the links from getting initialized correctly (i.e. add an onclick handler to start this Flash player)
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
- Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window.
Thank you. For some reason my AdBlock extension was causing the problem...don't know why.
You're welcome.
Did you check which filter rule in ABP caused your problem?
Alright, I didn't know that you can mess with the options with your extensions. Thanks for telling me. So I went to filter preferences and disabled this filter called "EasyList", ... nothing opens when I want to hear the mp3 which is nice, but ads still come up when I watch something haha..

Alright...I enabled the Add-on bar for AdBlock Plus and it gave me the option to disable the extension for the website. That worked out perfectly for me. I'm still curious though to find out how AdBlock Plus is causing the issue haha.... Thanks for all your help though.
