I had to reload Firefox, but now myI lost my Bookmarks in the process. Can I get them back?

My version of Firefox was mafunctioning so I uninstalled it and loaded the latest version. Didn't realize that all of my Bookmarks would get wiped out and I never thought to back them up beforehand. Not so smart. It will take hours to replace all of them. Wondering if there is an easy way to get them back, such as doing a system restore on my PC to gain access to my old Firefox version and then backing them up before uninstalling it once again. I have Windows 7 with 64-bit if that makes any difference. Any advice for a novice appreciated.

Did you remove personal data when you uninstalled Firefox?

If you did there your bookmarks and other personal data in all profiles folders was removed and is lost.
