https://addons.mozilla.org/ will not load for me for some reason
For some reason when trying to get to the add on page at https://addons.mozilla.org/, I get a screen with the following.
The connection has timed out
The server at addons.mozilla.org is taking too long to respond. The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments. If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection. If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.
What is happening?

Been getting a lot of "The connection has timed out" errors at MozillaZine (mozillazine.org) and seem to have solved it with
- "The connection has timed out" for Firefox on my Windows 7 ...
- Tools > Options
- Advanced (tab) -> Network (tab) > "Setting"
- (X) Auto-detect proxy setting for this network
Don't know why today would be much worse than other days.
But if that doesn't work see comparing Firefox settings with those in the Control Panel in
You can see that there have been several service disruptions on a lot of Mozilla servers during the last few days.
