I need history for a certain date,friday, not last several days

The recorded time for history is when you bring up the page (not exit the page)

From History sidebar ("Ctrl+H") for the latest entries, use the "View:" next to the search field and choose "Last visited". If the date you want is today or yesterday yesterday you can choose "By date" or "By date and site".

The History Library List ("Ctrl+Shift+H") provides more flexibility, if you know some of the characters strings within the title and/or url (and/or tags) you can enter them into the search field. If you have no idea just place a colon (":") into the search. Sort by "Last visited" column and if the column is not shown, include it by double-click on a column heading or via the Library List's view menu.

You can open the Last 7 days or This Month folder in the Library and sort by Visit Date.
Then you can scroll down to that date.
