Hi!

This happens mostly in google search when I try to open a result. I get redirected to lakyclktolakylock.com. I have blocked this site using my antivirus, but the root cause is still not fixed. It is also trying to execute setup.exe in C:\Windows\temp\<somerandomname>\ using svchost.exe. This is also blocked by my antivirus firewall. However, the source program is not getting detected. This is getting really annoying. Please help.

You have the TDSS rootkit. I had the same problem on my wife's laptop. Kaspersky has a free TDSS rootkit tool that will remove it for you, but you must also make sure to remove all other viruses as well, as the other viruses may re-install it. I wrote an article on my website about it, and explain how to get rid of it, which you can find if you just Google lakyclktolakylock. Unfortunately, MalwareBytes is censoring my site and having their software say my site is dangerous, because I tell some truth about them, regardless, just get the TDSS Killer from Kaspersky and it will get rid of the re-directs. I hope it helps your problem.
