I received a Firefox update message, ran the update and now Firefox won't open at all. Help?

Very frustrating pls help! This is what happens when I try launching firefox. I get this message


Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at www.securedata-trans10.com. 





   *   The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
         moments.

   *   If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
         connection.

   *   If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
         that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

Hi there,

Unfortunately, Mac OS 10.4 does not support Firefox 4...see Installing Firefox. I would recommend you uninstall, and then reinstall the latest build of Firefox 3.6.

Okay, thanks for your help. But... if Firefox 4 isn't supported on my OS, why did Firefox prompt me to run the update in the first place?
