When I look at my homepage, whether it is Mozilla, Yahoo or anything else, I see the tool bar with file, etc., and a bar with the homepage listed underneath tool bar, but I cannot access the address bar that I use to type in a website.

If the entire bar that contains the address bar is missing (for example, you don't have back/forward or home buttons either), then go to the View menu, click Toolbars, and then click Navigation Toolbar. A checkmark appears next to this menu item when the toolbar is visible.

If you have the back/forward and home buttons, but not the address bar, see #Adding_removing_and_rearranging_items. The item that you want to add back onto the toolbar is called "Location".

From the View menu, select Toolbars, Customize. And then click restore default set to restore the default toolbars. Also make sure under View > Toolbars that the Navigation Toolbar is checked.
