You can look at these prefs on the about:config page to disable FAYT for cases like ' and / to open Quick Find for links.

  • accessibility.typeaheadfind => false
  • accessibility.typeaheadfind.manual => false

You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. On the warning page, click "Accept the Risk and Continue" to open about:config.
