Hi

This is something that our developers are looking into. You can track progress and add comments at:

It takes more than 18 months to add a basic [removed] setting?!

I would like to request again that you remember that we try to keep the language family friendly.

You are welcome to add comments to that issue.

You gotta define "family friendly". I swear in front of my family, including my 5 year niece, without repercussion.

I would add a comment if I thought it would help things also. It has been over 18 months. If they haven't added it now, I doubt it will happen.

I will continue on using the old version until it gets completely untenable. Hopefully by then either Mozilla will figure out it out and surprise me by adding the setting (Google finally made it that album art doesn't show on the lock screen now. I had used Next by Microsoft for years past end of support to have that feature.) Or Ice Raven/Android Waterfox will be a thing. Or I will use this knowing it's the shiniest piece of trash that ar web browsers in the app store.

I honestly hope 2 happens, but I feel like 3 is the most likely.

I guess I will keep trying out the Nightlys every now and then.

Also, just read thru the Code of Conduct. There is nothing in there saying that I am not allowed to swear, just not allowed to attack people.

You actually violate it more for not being Inclusive and not Understanding Different Perspectives Also, the directives of being "Professional" and "Respectful" are left incredibility vague. Vague enough, that if you don't like the way a person talks, you can ban them.

In respect of of the specific inquiry about Firefox for Android, you are still welcome to comment on the issue mentioned above should you wish.
