Firefox launching problems
Some time ago, firefox stopped launching. I tried everything. I refreshed, reinstalled, clean reinstalled, reset windows, deleted possibly interfering programs, and clean reinstalled windows (that was for other problems). I am running windows 10 home build 10.0.19042 (currently the latest) on a omen HP laptop 15-dc0xxx. It is x64 bit device with a intel core i7 8 gen cpu and a nvidia 1050 ti mobile. It does not seem to be a hardware issue as a linux kernel that I have dual booting with windows 10 runs it like a champ.
When launched the application load for a period of ~7 seconds and for a frame or two there is a small window with either nothing on it or a safe mode window that goes away after a frame. When the problems started I closed firefox and reopened it a small bit later and the problems above happened. Windows safe mode will run firefox. Opera has very similar problems if that helps any. Google chrome, microsoft edge, microsoft internet explorer are all unaffected.

Some problems occur when your Internet security program was set to trust the previous version of Firefox, but no longer recognizes your updated version as trusted. Now how to fix the problem: To allow Firefox to connect to the Internet again;

Thanks for trying but that did not help. I blocked it then unblocked it and that did nothing.
Try removing Firefox from the firewall list.

That did not work either. The firewall appears to have nothing to do with the problem. It is not that there is any connection issues, firefox will not start.
Start your Computer in safe mode with network support. Then start Firefox. Try Secure websites. Is the problem still there?

If the problem goes away with the computer in Safe Mode,
the problem is with one of the other programs on the system.
As a test, disable your protection programs.

In safe mode it worked. Out of safe mode I tried it while Avast Antivirus was disabled and unstalled and that had little effect. I already tried safe mode and I could not identify the source of the problem.

Run most or all of the listed free to use malware scanners. Each works differently. If one program misses something, another may pick it up.

I've been through entire clean re-installs of windows ten (unrelated reasons also not caused by malware) and one of the first things that I did afterwards is attempt a reinstall of Firefox after that Firefox ran once. Then would not boot afterwards even after reinstall. I also have antimalware set up and no viruses were detected. From linux that I use for work firefox works great. Windows wont boot it though.
I called for more help.
