youtube & other website play sound through inactive internal speaker not active/ connected bluetooth speaker... & cannot change volume; MS Edge no problem

How can I avoid sound problems with firefox browser? Several websites I check only play through internal laptop speaker, not connected bluetooth ue mini-boom. I download Edge browser, & it plays through ue miniboom.

Other audio problems- i cannot mute or lower volume on websites I checks, or zoom meeting with firefox. I am stuck with loud college class talk while trying to work if I use firefox.

I tried suggestion of permissions for website, & it solved nothing.

I want to use firefox, not edge bold text. help.

additional info. One fix that has worked is to disable internal audio... it seems forcing the other speaker... but then i run into more problems, because i need internal audio sometimes... windows 10 dell college owned pc.
