Tasks disappearing in TB 78.4.0 Calendar

I accidently upgraded to 78.4.0 and it has been working fine except I'm losing tasks (not events) in calendar. It appears that tasks with a due date prior to today simply disappear. For example, last night I had 21 tasks with a due date of 12/14 or prior. I believe they were all 12/14 but can't be positive. All 21 showed in the task reminder window and showed green in the task list. I closed out TB by "x" ing out of the window. Later last night, I opened TB again and then it showed 4 tasks in the task reminder window and they were green in the task list. The other 17 are gone. All 4 had a due date of 12/14. I shut down TB and this morning when I fired it up, those 4 are gone. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a setting somewhere that might be causing this? Any help would be appreciated.

Additional information.... I entered 10 tasks today at about 10:15 am and backdated them to 12/14. The reminder times were in the 10:15-10:35 range. I tried starting and stopping TB and also stopping TB and rebooting my pc. The tasks continued to show both in the task reminder window and showing green in the tasks list. I shut down TB about 11:15 am and left my pc running. I returned at about 5:30 pm and restarted TB. All 10 tasks have now disappeared completely.
