links in outlook 2013 not working in firefox windows 10
I'm using windows 10 and firefox as my default browser. I am using full Outlook 2013 for work-related emails. None of the links in my emails are clickable..."organization is preventing you from...blah blah" How can I fix this?
Thanks in advance for step by step help for a non-techy.

Can you open links in Outlook when Edge is the default browser? If that doesn't work either, I think the registry change would be needed.

Hi Kathleen, did you recently need to uninstall/reinstall Firefox or another browser?
On 64-bit systems, uninstall/reinstall can move your Firefox installation from
C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox -- the legacy 32-bit programs folder
to
C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
Historically, MS Office was a bit stupid about finding the new location if the default browser was physically (re)moved. There's a more detailed discussion and registry fix in the following article:

Hi. No, I have not recently uninstalled/installed a browser. I'm working my way through the registry fix at the link you provided, but no success yet. I did notice that when I changed my default apps to be Outlook and Edge and then went to Internet Options, I don't see an option to "reset" under the advanced tab. My only choice is to restore default settings.

I downloaded the registry fix and experimented with switching my default apps to outlook and edge. I just switched back to firefox as my default and links are working! Yay!
