Firefox is my default PDF viewer but the Windows Explorer will not show previews in the preview. I want to support and use Firefox - can I get previews?

Does anyone have steps to enabling the MS Explorer PDF preview pane to use Firefox. If not possible MS is shutting Firefox out of the market and forcing other software to be used.

Hello there,

Just to clarify - which software did you use before setting Firefox as your default PDF viewer? Is this problem exclusive to pdfs or is it a general Preview pane issue?

Hello Yes absolutely and there is a tick in the preview box. MS Explorer in Windows 10 is just not playing. :( Had a good dig on the web and solution seems to be - used Adobie.... which I dont want to do. It is essentially shutting out Firefox from this function in windows explorer - not good. Thanks fo rthe reply though.  :) Stuart
