Hi, if you have suggestions for future releases please go to the 3 Bar Menu --> Help --> Submit Feedback Or email to the same place : https://qsurvey.mozilla.com/s3/FirefoxInput/ or https://discourse.mozilla.org/c/add-ons

Volunteer Support can not make changes to Firefox in the way your asking.

As for why is is to keep people out from being in a place that can wreck havoc and make recovery impossible.

In future ask a question and then there will be no need to blindly go about:config

Glad you fixed what you wanted. Also yes, all changes to about:config should be documented for future reference or repair.

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.
