Got recently a notification that I must update Firefox esr 52.9.02 to new 60.x esr version. Problem is, after the upgrade only 5 of the many passwords were actually saved - rest were not showing up. Tried fiddling with the logins.json and key3.db (move them to replace the new ones) no help. What´s going on? How can I get the software to show all stored passwords? Oddly the size of the new logins.json implied they were in the file, but would not show up. Downgraded and - no problems, they work.

Hi, I would say that it is because you are when using version 60+ your now using Quantum so there is a large difference in how they work and it is not finding that compatible for some reason.

Suggest taking Screenshots of your passwords/usernames https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-screenshots or write them down or password manager https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/search/?platform=windows&q=Password%20Manager

Always :

Do a uninstall and Delete the Mozilla Firefox Folders in C:\Program Files , C:\Program Files(x86) & C:\ProgramData if anything remains. Can try deleting your Profile from where it is stored

And then Restore your Profile
